1. Who We Are
Creative Profit Solutions ("we," "our," or "us") provides pricing and operational consulting, software, and educational resources for owner-led service and project-based businesses. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and related tools, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
If you have questions about this policy or how your information is handled, contact us at hello@creativeprofitsolutions.com.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
Depending on which forms or tools you use on our site, we may collect:
- Name and email address
- Company or business name, website, and role/title
- Business details such as annual revenue range, team size, and a description of your operational or pricing challenges (collected specifically when requesting a scope call)
- Messages you send us through the contact form
- Payment and billing information, when purchasing Profit Pilot (processed directly by our payment processor, not stored on our own servers — see Section 4)
- Account information, if you create a Profit Pilot account (email, business settings, quote history)
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring website. This is standard analytics-style data and does not identify you personally on its own.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries, scope-call requests, and contact form submissions
- Provide, maintain, and improve Profit Pilot and its features
- Process payments and manage purchases
- Send requested communications, such as Profit Notes, waitlist updates, or purchase confirmations
- Prevent spam and abuse of our forms (see our bot and spam protection service, Section 4)
- Understand how our site is used, so we can improve it
- Meet legal and regulatory obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services We Use
We rely on trusted third-party service providers to run our business. Each handles a specific function and maintains its own privacy and security practices. We may change which specific providers we use from time to time, but their role stays the same:
- Payment processing — a secure, industry-standard payment processor handles all purchases. We do not store your full payment card details ourselves.
- Customer relationship management (CRM) and email — if you submit a form or join a waitlist, your contact details are stored with our CRM/email provider so we can follow up and send requested communications.
- Database and account hosting — if you create a Profit Pilot account, your login credentials, business settings, and quote data are stored with our database provider.
- Bot and spam protection — a security service runs a lightweight, automated check on our forms to prevent spam and abuse. It does not require you to solve a puzzle.
- Workflow automation — an automation platform securely passes information between the providers above (for example, routing a form submission from our website into our CRM).
5. Cookies and Tracking
Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand site usage, and support the security tools listed above (for example, our bot-protection service requires a small amount of browser-level data to function). You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not work correctly if you do.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We share personal information only with the third-party service providers listed in Section 4, to the extent necessary for them to perform their function, and in the following circumstances:
- If required by law, subpoena, or legal process
- To protect the rights, property, or safety of Creative Profit Solutions, our users, or the public
- In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition, in which case we would notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, including maintaining your Profit Pilot account, complying with legal and tax obligations, and resolving disputes. If you'd like your data deleted, contact us using the details in Section 13 and we will act on that request, subject to any legal retention requirements (for example, financial records related to a purchase).
8. Your Rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your information
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Request a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
Our legal basis for processing your information is typically one of the following: your consent (e.g., subscribing to Profit Notes), the necessity of processing to fulfill a contract (e.g., providing Profit Pilot after purchase), or our legitimate interest in operating and improving our business.
If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA)
You have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in this respect
- Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights
To exercise any of the rights above, contact us at hello@creativeprofitsolutions.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including relying on service providers that maintain their own industry-standard security practices. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for business owners and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International Data Transfers
Our service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection regardless of where it's processed.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
